One Work Accepted into the Symphony in the Flint Hills Juried Show 2016

The Symphony in the Flint Hills is a major cultural event. The Kansas City Symphony relocates to the Flint Hills for the evening. The location changes to a different ranch in the Kansas Flint Hills every year. The event begins at noon and ends late into the evening. It begins with various events, and displays, including a tent of the juried art pieces that all reflect the flint hills. It culminates with the symphony playing, and the finale is a cattle drive behind the symphony as the sun sets. It is truly stunning, and where else could you see such an event. This event sells out the first day that tickets go on sale — sometimes within minutes of posting. One reason to enter this show is that I get to attend — albeit a volunteer. It is a highlight and I’m privileged to be a part of it.
